Director, USC Master of Nonprofit Leadership and Management Program
June 30, 2023 – Regina Birdsell, trusted advisor for high performing nonprofit organizations and community-based initiatives across Southern California, will join the Price School as Director of the Master of Nonprofit and Leadership Management program (MNLM). She recently stepped down as President and CEO of the southern California Center for Nonprofit Management where she spearheaded efforts to strengthen the capacity of the region’s nonprofit organization through executive education for leadership effectives and change management. Birdsell, a forward-thinking executive, has built successful strategic alliances with corporate, government, nonprofit and philanthropic partners to drive collaborations around common goals such as creating the first Nonprofit Council at the LA Chamber of Commerce and chaired the foundation and nonprofit work group of the LA County Economic Resilience Task Force in the midst of the pandemic. In her new role at Price, Birdsell will work closely with the Department of Public Policy and Management to identify practicum placements, enhance the program curriculum, and explore growth opportunities for the MNLM program. She is a USC alumna and a former USC adjunct professor at Price and Annenberg.
