This spring USC’s Dana Gioia and Steven Lavine, President of the California Institute of the Arts, led a captivating discussion on philanthropy and the arts at the Paley Center for Media. The Center initiated these Los Angeles based discussions in an attempt to bring together different segments of philanthropy and bridge fragmentation within the sector and leverage the power of the sector’s pluralism.
