The Center on Philanthropy & Public Policy

A research center of the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy

Forums and Roundtables

A hallmark of the Center's work is our commitment to regularly convene leaders in the field, in order to ensure that our research is both useful and usable. The Center brings together key thinkers and decision makers from across sectors-philanthropy, business, and government-to discuss research findings and implications as well as to surface emerging issues in philanthropy that might lead to further study.

Forums

The Center convenes large national groups of leaders from across sectors to discuss emerging issues in philanthropy and to explore the implications for philanthropy and public problem solving. Discussions are based on commissioned papers or research reports. View past forums.

Roundtables

The Center holds roundtable discussions with key leaders on emerging issues in the field, based commissioned papers or research reports. Roundtables are invitational and typically involve no more than 40-50 participants to facilitate a conversation. View past roundtables.

Philanthropy is constantly changing - and the Center delivers precisely the roadmap we need. A big component of its value is its ability to get key people around the table, whether through large national forums or more intimate peer leadership gatherings. Every organization in this field has its own unique approach to strengthening the community, and the Center offers the tools we all need to meet our most critical goals.
